Timeline Review Changes & Updated Application Fee Structure
The ABSNC voted to approve revisions to Policy 9.3, whereby organizations can submit up to five (5) certification program applications concurrently for initial accreditation or reaccreditation if they share the same expiration date. Reduced fees apply for multiple submissions.
Effective June 1, 2026, review for 3–5 applications submitted at the same time will include an extended initial review period of 60 days (previously 45 days), and all applications submitted together will be reviewed by the same review team.
Effective January 1, 2027, the fee structure for application submission will be as follows:
-1 application: $1,000 (no change)
-2 applications: $1,250
-3 applications: $1,500
-4 applications: $1,750
-5 applications: $2,000
Annual Compliance Reporting
Beginning with the 2026-2027 reporting period (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) organizations must submit:
- the most recent JTA/RDS, and
- the most recent Standard Setting report
Reports remain due on October 31.
Credit For Reviewers
ABSNC Reviewers can earn up to three (3) ICE‑CCP recertification credits per year—for a total of 12 credits over the four‑year certification cycle—for volunteer service.
To document earned credits when renewing the ICE-CCP credential, reviewers can submit verification of appointment (e.g., an ABSNC appointment letter) for the applicable period. To request an appointment letter, email info@absnc.org.
