ABSNC Announces Results of the 2025 Elections

Mt. Laurel, NJ – June 16, 2025—The Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC) is pleased to announce results of the 2025 election for Board Director and Officers. The new Director’s and Officers’ terms will begin with the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The new board member will serve a three-year term. Officers will serve a two-year term.

Elected as Director by the board is Pamela Ing. Ms. Ing, PhD, ICE-CCP currently serves as the Chief Credentialing Officer for American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

The following slate of officers were elected to serve two-year terms for 2025-2027:

  • President - Amy Grand, MSN, RN. Amy is the Director of Certification and Accreditation for the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN).
  • Vice President - Dawn Whiteside, MSN, RN, CNOR, NPD-BC, RNFA. Dawn is the Director of Education and Professional Development, Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).
  • Secretary-Treasurer - Keisha Davidson, MBA, ICE-CCP. She is the Director of Credentialing for Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center (HPCC).

In addition to making decisions about the governance and business of the organization, board members have the opportunity/responsibility of reviewing accreditation application submissions”, says ABSNC Executive Director, Felicia Lembesis, CAE, ICE-CCP. “I would like to acknowledge the ongoing commitment of the ABSNC Board members and, on behalf of the entire board warmly welcome our new Board member.”  

The Board of Directors assume their new roles on July 1, 2025.  ABSNC is the only accrediting body specifically dedicated to nursing certification.
